Return Transporation to Vancouver

So you’ve made it all the way up the Sea to Sky highway in one of the most exciting cycling events of the season, but how will you get back to Vancouver?

GranFondo Canada will offer bus transportation for Sunday, September 9th from Whistler so you can stay overnight, join in the after-event fun, and catch a ride back to the city on Sunday. The bus will drop passengers at Vancouver Convention Centre East (under the sails at Canada Place), 999 Canada Place on Sunday, September 9. Whistler pick-up times will be listed closer to the event date.

Bike Transport from Whistler to Vancouver

Bikes are loaded onto a Semi Truck on Saturday, September 8th in the bike parking area at the finish line. All bikes must be loaded by 4:00pm onto the trucks and will be available for pickup at the Vancouver Convention Centre East by Sunday, September 9th between 10:00am and 5:00pm.

Note: Bikes will be wrapped in blankets. If you are concerned about scratches please pack protective foam wrap for your bicycle. It is understood by those utilizing this service that GranFondo Canada accepts no liability for damage or loss of property to bikes using this service.

Bag Check

Complimentary Bag Check will only be available during Package Pickup on Thursday, September 8th and Friday, September 9th (limited to one bag per person, excluding bike boxes). Maximum size is 21.5 in. x 9 in. x 15.5 in. (standard airplane carry-on size). We'll give you a tag in your event materials to label your bag with your name and rider number. Have this tag clearly visible and in position before you hand in your bag at the Station. Put all items into one bag - no loose items will be accepted! Items can be collected at the finish line starting as of 11:00am.

For Medio riders only, Complimentary Bag Check service is also available at the Medio Start in Squamish.
